Visites 1.1 RC1 LOGS ME OUT of backend

- Installed Visites 1.1 RC1.
- Have activated the modul in a visible part of the website.
So far so good ...

Being in the backend as admin, clicking on any of the the Visites 1.1 RC1 menu-items LOGS ME OUT immediately.

URL is ...

Any idea what to do?

I guess i am not the only one with this problem (check some other threads) ?

I have the same problem as well.
I think it has got something to do with joomla 1.0.13
it was working well before once i updated ,visites is not working..

Please help....

Same Problem.
U have to edit @
/components/com_joomla-visites/ and @ /administrator/components/com_joomla-visites/
both index.php.

Find the following phrases:

Replace there the ../../ with your absolute serverpaths.

I'm actually working on this problem. Are your sure your solution really works? I'm asking this question because /var/www/vhosts/xxx/httpdocs/administrator/configuration.php doesn't exists. configuration.php appears at the root of any Joomla website.

Could you give me an access to your backend so that I can have a look of what is wrong with the component? Please send me a private message with url, login and pass.

Well... it works in the way that i am not kicked out to login-site anymore. And i changed the server-path to my configuration needs.

BUT ... Joomla-Visites 1.1 RC1 STILL records NO visitors. So i decided to uninstall it. Maybe give it a try if there is a final release that works (with Joomla 1.0.13).

I also noticed (since I'm running this on 1.0.12 and 1.0.13) that mod_joomla-visites.php and mod_joomla-visites.xml are not getting installed on 1.0.13.

In addition, the "Administration" control on the bottom control bar is not being installed.

I used the hacks in another posting to get the stats to start collecting which force the FrontorBack to Back.

And even though I get kicked out, I simply replace the URL /administrator/index.php?... with /administrator/index2.php?... and I can limp through the site.

I haven't put in the above hacks, but I still think this is a great component. Ever see the similarities with Google Analytics?

Could you verifiy that configuration.php exists at the root of Joomla?

Could you explain me in details which changes you made?

And to help me, those who have the problem are welcome to send me an admin access to their site. I cannot reproduce the probleme on my sites, so I need to check directly on yours.
