Very good to do this with Joomla and phpMyVisites!!

Well finally I think this is a very good way to integrate this kind of web analytics to Joomla sites two very good core componets working togheter with its focus.

Tips of the future! I think Omniture is on the right track with their integration of integrate web anaytics with behavioral targeting.

Dont know if this is possible for phpMyVisites in the future but very intersting for every site owners!

Hi and welcome on this forum! You're the first user to post!

Well, I'll have a look at what they do and try to see what it is possible to implement in Joomla-Visites.

It would be great if you could integrate additional web analytics to Joomla-Visites. I recommend you focus on offering features which Google Analytics can't.

Features like tracking of Registered visitors, integration with Community Builder so if someone has set up multiple user types the analytics can track each of the groups.

Keep up the good work

Yes, I'll try to develop specific features for Joomla. With the 1.0 beta 1 release, you can have detail stats for each kind of visitors : logged-in, logged-in on a previous visit and logged-off.

I'm not sure webmasters need detail stats for each individual members. These kind of stats are usefull only if you want to spy a member. But, you're right, trying to build stats for a group/kind of visitors is a good idea. Or perhaphs, we could think the opposite : trying to define groups of visitors with stats.

Hi,
I was asking the same
In the specific not all site are intended for public.
In Italy a big movement in use of CSM is on developement inside e-learning platform. So often Joomla! CSM were programmed by tutors with a close number of students (Registerd Users)and ONLY registered users. In this scenario is lacking a good collecting software that return to tutors
The whole activity of the students (registered users to pages, Time In , time of permanence, time Out)and also a module for the single student (registered user) with only your own activity.
I hope that my english will be almost barely interpretable
For the work itself very good work, i will stay tuning on their development.

Opsss forget is absolutely a legal activity for a tutor to read the presence of a student. So not will be intended like a spy activity but a concrete way to attribution points for the activity in e-learning platform.

Hi,

In this case, I think the goal of this software is not exactly the same as Joomla-Visites.
