getting rid of currently an archiving message

There is currently an archiving which is being processed (idarchives = 4). Please wait a few minutes (70983 seconds), and try again (we have to wait for the archive to be totally computed.

have had this message for 5 days now after installation. have heard something about Zend Optimizer on my provider/hosting but do not know what this is or how to turn it off...thanks for any help. JoomVisites did work for about an hour after right after initial installation but has not worked since
