a problem about automatic logout

i have a problem about joomla-visites. when i click the bottoms in the joomla-visites(1.1 RC1),like "visits", "Frequency", ect, just under the logo fo joomla-visits, the system just logout automaticly. i'm totally confused.
anybody can explain it?
my envirment is:
firefox and IE(both have the problem)
windows xp
joomla 1.0.13
php5
mysql 5
apache 1.37

any answer will be appreciated!

I have the same problem than that of Arashi! I have made two intallations. The one I am encountering a problem with is the one being a add-on domain. Not to sure is this might put Arnaud in the right direction to provide a solution?

well, this is quite strange.

Are you in the administrator or in front-end when this happen? Does someone else try to see stats at the same time? Have you modified something in Joomla core?

Am in front-end when this happens. As I have said. I have made two installations. The one is working fine but the other one operating in a add-on domain does this. The moment you select anything on the screen, it throws you back to the Joomla! login screen.

I have regular logouts with Joomla.
I have found that it may be a pre-set security feature.
If I click on something twice and its half way through doing that job, it will log me out.
If my connection to the host is slow and a bit of data gets lost, I have to log in again.

I am a user and noob, I am not a coder, so I have learnt to wait and I have gotten use to logging in multiple times.

Thanks for your input. It is however not the same scenario in my case. Everything works fine except the Joomla-Visites function. The moment you click on any option on the Joomla-Visites front-end, it logs you out, every time at the very first click.

Could to you give me an 'Author' access to your website? I'll then verify 2 or 3 things. Send username, pass and url with private messaging (at the right top corner).

Just thought I would add that I have the same problem and it is not on a subdomain. It is on www.thedatamedic.com I can look at the main page, but clicking on any "visites" menu item logs me out instantly. My specs are exactly the same as the OP's.

Hi,

did you try to re-download the component an re-install it. There has been some small changes in the code and it could be the cause.
