I have the exact same problem. I cannot add the component as a frontend (it only says "Page not found"). When I open it in the backend, it displays the initial page (overview). When I click on any of the links, it logs me out. I found that if I copy the link ( site.com/administrator/index.php?params ) and change it to site.com/administrator/index2.php?params, it keeps me logged in and displays the page properly. I tried reinstalling the component, that just erased all my stats and did not change anything. You can have admin access if you want to figure this out if you want to? The page is not THAT important.. It doesn't use a subdomain.
Also, I don't have access to the link labeled "Tip: Have you installed the tracker (javascript code) on your pages?
Top". It says "Access not permitted". And it doesn't display any link to the admin thing. There should be one, right? I think the component "thinks" that it is embedded into the frontend. That would explain much.
